EAST SUSSEX GARDEN RENOVATION

Following completion of the swimming pool refurb in west sussex, their next door neighbours were impressed with our work, and requested we rework their out dated garden also.

We started by knocking down the existing retaining wall and taking up the block path that circulates the perimeter of the garden. We then rebuilt the wall, with a facing of mint fossil indian sandstone tumbled walling blocks to create a dry stone effect. Once the wall was complete we started to re lay the pathway, using mint fossil indian sandstone cobbles. We also finished the wall off with a porcelain coping along the top.

Once the path and wall were complete, we began the main patio areas. A majority of the patio was already suitable to be laid on once we removed the existing slabs. We had to prep some areas as a result of extending the old patio. We also used walling blocks underneath the edge of the paving to hide the height difference between slab and turf, as well as edging the paving with more of the mint fossil cobble stones.
